![]() ![]() In my second pregnancy we saw the heartbeat at 6+4, I can’t remember what it was, but before she checked for the heartbeat the tech warned me that they don’t always see it before 7ish weeks: Update- My baby is almost 8 months old now and a beautiful, healthy baby girl!! And I did pass that state board and have been a bedside surgical nurse for a year now! Very blessed! Thank you all for your words of comfort during that time. Update- Went back today at 7w1d and baby had a nice heart rate of 147, with perfectly healthy growth since last week! Thank you all for the support, it meant a lot. To add- what really stinks is that I take my state board NCLEX in hopes of getting my RN license tomorrow morning □□□♀️oh my. She’s now 12 weeks and her pregnancy is going well.Ĭan anyone share their experience of a 6 week heart rate? Even if you can’t, any advice or opinions on this is appreciated! I’m so heartbroken. Her babies heart rate was 110 at 6 weeks 2 days, and the same OB told her they wanted over 150. My friend who is 43 saw the same doctor at her 6 weeks and was given the same story. and she said “I want to make sure this will go somewhere first, I need to see if it’s viable”. (didn’t even explain that she wasn’t going to do it, started walking out without explanation). Told me signs of miscarriage to watch for, told me she’s had them herself and she knows how hard it is, etc. She tells me that they’d like the heart rate to be OVER 150. Well when the doctor comes in, she has bad news. The tech told me that’s perfectly normal for this gestation. Great yolk sac, great uterine lining, and a heart beat of 108. So it looks like I did, and the ultrasound tech dated the baby at exactly 6 weeks today. I always have varying cycles of 30-40 days so it makes sense that I could ovulate later. Today I went for my first ultrasound (thinking I was 8 weeks 1 day using my period date). ![]()
